Meet Adriel
Adriel Ventura López is a Texas Democrat, software developer, and community-focused philanthropist running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Texas Congressional District 28.
Adriel is originally from Weslaco, TX and was born in the summer of 1996. Raised on the South Texas values of hard work, faith, and looking out for your neighbors — lessons passed down from his grandfather Ventura — Adriel is stepping forward to ensure Washington finally works for the people who actually live and work in TX-28, not just corporations, political insiders, or the ultra-wealthy.
During the COVID-19 pandemic Adriel was working 24/7 as a banking software developer and played a crucial role in helping to ensure SBA loans were dispersed to business across America following the CARES Act. America is full of silent heroes that show up to work each and every day to make sure our nation remains the greatest on Earth.
From gun safety and criminal justice reform to protecting women, families, and LGBTQ+ Texans, Adriel is committed to a Congress that finally reflects the lived experience of our communities.
